Made from light linen fabric, it is ideal for hot days. It has a nice touch and feels comfortable on the skin. The simple collar and the simple neckline give it a down-to-earth character. "Rurik" is not only suitable for travellers or vagabonds. It can be used by Nordic roles as well as soldiers, knights or nobles as a solid basis for individual costume design. It is not certain, where this fashion originated from, but historians suggest, that lansquenets started cutting their clothing, for it was too tight for them to fight in them.
