The "Haldur" gambeson is a leather gambeson based on a historical model. The upper layer is made of fine sheepskin, and it is thickly padded to offer the wearer some protection and has detachable shoulders so it can easily be converted into a leather tunic. The elaborate diamond stitching emphasizes the warlike character of this fancy armor gambeson. "Haldur" is closed on the chest with 4 cast brass buckles. It is especially suitable for the representation of Vikings, warriors, rangers, dwarves and many other martial characters.

Discontinued, only while stocks last This pair of massive spaulders is built with additional blade turners attached on top of the shoulder parts. This makes every wearer appear even bigger. The spaulders are built from two parts (shoulder and upper arm) and are being attached on the collar or torso of an exsisting armour and fixed to the wearers upper arm to hold them in place. This way they stay in place and will disturb the wearers movement only a little. The spaulders are made in the style of the "Edward" armour: a ridge along the edge and many decorative rivets surrounding it. The pieces for the upper arm are something very special: they are built anatomically, so that they rest on the upper arm very tight and comfortably. Shapur gambeson canvas

A gambeson fulfills several tasks. It serves as armour in and of itself, capable of withstanding sword blows on medieval battlefields. During LARP events or combat portrayals using steel weapons, it will absorb the oomph of blows and protect the wearer from bruises. Worn underneath other armour parts, it will lend them a greater wearing comfort and improve their fit. It is almost a costume by itself and, combined with a belt and a few accessories, it may be worn as a warrior's upper garment. We offer gambesons in various colours and shapes.The gambeson "Shapur" is inspired by oriental garments. It may be closed in the front using three leather strips. What makes the closure special is the diagonal overlap, similar to a kimono. That's what gives "Shapur" its oriental character. The possibility of adjusting the waist fit is particularly interesting for women. Size and fit can be individually adjusted using lacings on the sides. The gambeson has a firm, easy-to-grip padding without being too thick. The padding is thinner around the arms so as not to inhibit the wearer's freedom of movement.
