Hoshiro was a legendary blacksmith. Few had the great honour of using one of his creations, but the prestige it gave made even the noblest families jealous. Passed down from generation to generation, his mysterious technique produced a blade of perfect edge, and the handle was made specifically for the one it was destined to. Many wished to buy these sabres, but the smith had a golden rule: only the worthy would be allowed to use the swords. Thus, only the purest of souls could pretend to the title of first owners of these weapons, and all knew their names. This allowed the katanas, if stolen, to be found almost immediately. This new Calimacil katana includes the most important elements of the old one: the Calimacil foam, both extremely durable and safe. However, the weapon now has a new, thinner blade, steel-coloured with silver accents. The handle is now white the wrappings are black for a contrasting look. Golden details such as the pommel have been added for a renewed realism. This katana’s tsuba can be changed with any one of our other tsubas, so your weapon can be truly unique. Important: Don't forget to get a tsuba for your katana sword. These are sold separately, please see below at "Accessories". Sashi, comme tous les enfants de son âge, voulait devenir samouraï. Devant l’un d’eux, dans la rue, ses yeux devenaient pleins d’étoiles et d’histoire. Comme tous les autres, jamais il n’aurait osé aborder l’un d’eux, si importants face à son enfance. Comme tous les enfants, il rêvait tout le jour et la nuit de ce qu’il pourrait accomplir étant grand. Ce qui le distinguait des autres enfants était sa volonté. À chaque moment libre, il s’entraînait avec des armes en bois, aux bonnes manières et aux arts martiaux. À l’âge de 15 ans, alors que les autres aidaient leurs parents aux champs, Sashi devint l’apprenti d’un samouraï. Il eût l’honneur de l’accompagner, d’apprendre de lui toutes les facettes de cette voie et de se battre à ses côtés. Avant d’être samouraï, il ne pouvait porter le katana. Aucun problème, le wakizashi de son maître lui était amplement suffisant. Le wakizashi II est l’évolution naturelle d’une arme millénaire. Fait de mousse Calimacil, celui-ci introduit une nouvelle lame, plus mince, mais toujours aussi sécuritaire et durable. Cette lame est de couleur acier et son fil est d’argent pour une illusion parfaite. La poignée, blanche, est enroulée de ruban noir tandis que le pommeau et la garde sont dorés, apportant une touche de noblesse à l’épée, pleine de détails et facilement maniable. Arme historique de l’Orient, le wakizashi est une addition intéressante à tout personnage de guerrier noble ou de pur serviteur de l’empereur. Servant normalement d’arme d’appoint lors des combats à deux armes, elle peut néanmoins être utilisée seule lorsque la situation le demande, ou encore par de plus petits personnages, comme certaines créatures mythologiques.
