Plastic Prussian Napoleonic Line Infantry and Volunteer Jagers (46 figures)
The set comprises of 40 Line Musketeers/Grenadiers plus a detachment of 6 Volunteer Jaegers which were often attached to regiments. The 40 infantry will give you a full strength battalion at 20:1. We’ve gone for the traditional march attack pose for the Line infantry and, as they’re advancing at speed, we’ve made the Jaegers ‘at trial’, firearms in one hand and their Hirschlangers in the other (!) There are enough heads with covered shakos for all the figures in the box. In addition there are heads with the Line Feldmutze and peaked Schirmutze for the Jaegers as some units had them. Likewise the Jaeger belly pouch is separate as some Volunteer Jaeger units had them. Most figures are in 3 pieces as we realise people like to build up units quickly, so you’ll get head , equipment (knapsack, haversack, cartridge box, short sword and half the greatcoat are in one piece) and body to put together.

The command frame comprises of one officer, one standard bearer, one drummer and an NCO.

Haddock Stivaloni

Le più antiche testimonianze di stivali sono state trovate su murali nella grotta spagnola di Altamira. Sono datati dal 13.000 al 15.000 AC. Gli stivali proteggono il piede e i polpacci dal freddo e dalle ferite. Erano e sono ancora indispensabili per le attività nel campo o in caso di maltempo. Cacciatori primitivi, cavalieri, avventurieri o pirati indossano tutti gli stivali per una buona ragione! La forma degli stivali, come gli scarponi "Haddock" offerti qui, si è sviluppata dagli stivali da equitazione di uso comune. I risvolti lunghi, che avrebbero dovuto proteggere le gambe durante le cavalcate, sono stati ripiegati e sono diventati una moda comune. Gli stivali "Haddock" sono fatti di morbida pelle sintetica. Questo li rende insensibili all'umidità e quasi a prova di pioggia. La suola è inoltre cucita. Non devi preoccuparti di scarpe zuppe e piedi bagnati. Sotto il risvolto lungo c'è una cinghia che può essere usata per chiudere lo stivale. Sulla caviglia, lo stivale è fissato con un altro cinturino. Un altro bel dettaglio sono le piccole fibbie in ottone che si adattano esteticamente alla nostra serie "Henry". Abbiamo progettato la parte inferiore dei risvolti in modo tale da poter essere indossata anche piegata in alto, il che aumenta il calore e l'effetto protettivo. Il leggero rivestimento in schiuma di alta qualità mantiene i piedi caldi anche nelle notti più umide. Gli stivali "Haddock" sono stivali scenici. Non sono progettati per l'uso permanente. PRU 2 Prussian Infantry skirmishing

We are releasing 2 boxes of plastic Prussian Infantry to start our new Franco-Prussian War range. Both have the same frames of figures in them but they are in different ratios. All figures have 4 head variants including the 1860 pattern and 1867 pattern picklehaube, forage caps and Landwehr shakos. Bases and an information sheet are included. Prussian Infantry skirmishing (PRU 2) – this contains mainly the skirmish frames so that you can form an irregular firing line. As the French Chassepot rifle was superior to the Prussian Dreyse, firing lines tended to be open order with infantry taking cover where possible. There are also 2 advancing frames included as well as a command. 39 figures are included in each box plus casualties.

American Civil War Union Infantry 1861-65The figures in this box represent the look of the typical Union Infantry throughout the Civil War. They are all wearing sack coats and all have the option of either forage caps or slouch hats. There are 40 figures in this set. Up to 30 figures can be build in either charging or ‘right shoulder shift’ poses. There is a 4 man command, but there are arms on this frame to add to the infantry for NCO’s and a bugler. There are also an additional 6 skirmishers in the box. These together with the loading arms on the main frame allow many variations in poses.
